1. What is the difference between the 1st Generation and 2nd Generation systems?

The primary difference lies in the circuitry and installation efficiency. Our 1st Generation system is a reliable entry-level model featuring a single-wire harness, perfect for standard passenger vehicles. The 2nd Generation system features upgraded microprocessor logic and a Dual-Wire Harness, which creates a more robust and complete circuit. This results in faster electron distribution and is the recommended choice for larger SUVs, trucks, and vehicles operating in extreme salt environments.

Can I install the Auto Rust Warrior myself, or do I need a mechanic?

All systems in our shop are designed for 100% DIY installation. You do not need to be a mechanic or have specialized tools. The process typically takes about 15 minutes: Mount the waterproof module in the engine bay using the included industrial adhesive. Connect the ring terminals to your vehicle's 12V battery (Red to Positive, Black to Negative). Secure any loose wiring with the provided zip ties. The integrated LED light will immediately illuminate to confirm the system is active and protecting your vehicle.

Is this system safe for Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Hybrids?

Yes. Unlike traditional chemical undercoatings that can trap heat or gum up sensitive high-voltage sensors, the Auto Rust Warrior is completely non-invasive. It connects only to the standard 12V accessory battery found in all EVs and Hybrids. It does not interfere with the vehicle’s main propulsion battery, CAN-bus communication, or warranty, making it the safest corrosion protection method for modern high-tech vehicles.
